Holloway was a friendly stray rescued by a Project MEOW colony caretaker. After undergoing eyelid entropian surgery to correct his eyelids that were growing inward, it was discovered that Holloway had a bite mark under his chin. He was quarantined and had to live in a cage for several months. But thankfully, this social but miserable caged boy finally found a foster home that let him roam freely. Now he is living his best life (check out his “after” photo).
Unfortunately, Holloway’s situation isn’t unique. Project MEOW often rescues friendly strays that end up needing more medical care than the routine vaccinations and s/n surgeries. We hope to feature these special cats in our Spotlight page.
